1,200 HSBC Employees May Losse Their Jobs
One of the banking giant HSBC today announced that 1,200 employees may loose their jobs because of continued effect of recession on banking sector. Bank already laid off 500 employees last year in December.
HSBC's UK managing director, Paul Thurston, said "We deeply regret that these have led to the announcement of redundancies and, as you would expect, we will do everything we can to help and support those of our colleagues who are affected,"
- Is recession will give a deep effect on banking sector as well?
- Investors have to think 100 times before investing in banking sector now?
- Can HSBC stand like a giant in this bad time?
