Jade Goody's Husband Jailed For Assault
LONDON, England :- Jack Tweed, the husband of the late Jade Goody, has been jailed for 12 weeks for an assault on a taxi driver. Tweed attacked taxi driver Stephen Wilkins following a night out in Epping in May 2008, the British Press Association reported, Tweed attacked Wilkins after a night out while his cab was travelling at 50 mph. He also threatened to stab him after he asked for the fare in advance, his trial had heard.
Before being handcuffed and led to the cells of the court, Tweed was told he would spend half of his sentence behind bars before being freed on licence.
He was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £455 and £200 to Mr Wilkins.
